"Our daughter loved kindergarten and her teachers at HNS! They are so creative and dedicated to their jobs. We can't say enough nice things about them. The kindergarten program is excellent: the class is small and there are 2 full time teachers as well as several specialists. In addition to group lessons, each child receives personal attention adjusted for their individual learning style. The full day is ideal and allows a more relaxed atmosphere for instruction and socialization. There is more time for creative methods to teach reading and writing. My favorite was the puppet "Fudgesicle". The children would bring Fudgesicle home for a few days at a time and then would write in his diary what fun things he did at their house. They could read about his adventures at other children's houses and write their own. His diary was kept for the whole year so you could also see their individual progress as well. Overall they did a terrific job and we were thrilled with our daughter's progress." Susie O.
